Making Money Online Doesn’t Work For Everyone

[ad_1]

There are many challenges to working from home and making money online. I am writing this article to address what I consider to be the two main reasons that most people fail to make money online. Here they are:

1. There are so many ways to get distracted with different methods of building your Online Business

2. If you fall into the trap of this distraction it prevents you from consistently doing certain things to grow your business.

I personally fell into this trap several times in my early failed attempts at making money online. It’s happened to most people who have tried to start a website. You have a great idea. You buy a domain name. Then what?

You may go visit forums online and before you know it your mind is saturated with a thousand different ways to build your business. Before long you’re approach is so scattered that you give up.

I like to compare creating a website to make money online to a shotgun and a rifle. For those of you unfamiliar with guns, a shotgun shell contains hundreds of small pellets. When you shoot a shotgun at a target you will see those hundreds of pellets spread out on the target. However, if you shoot a rifle at the same target it will put a single bullet wherever you aim to shoot it. This is where the saying “having a shotgun approach” comes from.

In building a profitable website online you must do your research and then decide on very specific ways that you will build your business. Once you have decided which ways that you will focus on, zero in on those.

Now comes the most important part. Consistency. You must do a little work every day. Nothing is accomplished overnight. You must narrow down your approach to a handful of tactics and make the commitment to do those tasks a certain amount of times each day.

The first few months will be very frustrating because you will think that nothing is happening as a result of your labor. The reason that there are so few online successes is because most people stop trying in that first few months. Don’ be one of those people. The sun will start shining on you if you stay at it. The top of the mountain is sunny and clear but you don’t get there without blood sweat and tears.
